Question 2

What should I wear to a boudoir session?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to buy a thing. Our studio includes a full couture wardrobe with gowns, robes, angel wings, bodysuits, and lingerie in sizes XS through 4X. During your pre-session consultation, we'll plan your looks together based on your style and comfort level. Most clients wear 2-3 outfits during their session. You're also welcome to bring personal pieces that make you feel amazing.

Question 3

Do I need modeling experience for a boudoir photoshoot?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. Every session at The Goddess Experience is fully guided from head to toe. We coach you through every pose, every angle, every expression. We've photographed over 500 women, and the vast majority had zero modeling experience. You just show up and be open. We handle the rest.

Question 4

Is boudoir photography only for young or thin women?

Accepted Answer

Not even close. Our clients range from their 20s to their 60s, sizes XS to 4X, and every body type in between. Boudoir at The Goddess Experience is for every woman who is ready to invest in herself — regardless of age, size, or where she is in her journey. We specialize in making real, everyday women look and feel incredible. No models. Ever.

Question 5

Is professional hair and makeup included in a boudoir session?

Accepted Answer

Yes — professional hair and makeup is included with every Goddess Experience session. Our glam team specializes in soft, camera-ready makeup that enhances your natural beauty. Whether you want a subtle glow or full red-carpet glam, we've got you. You'll start your session feeling pampered, polished, and confident before the camera even comes out.

Question 6

How long does a boudoir session take?

Accepted Answer

Plan to be at the studio for approximately 2-3 hours for the full experience. That includes your hair and makeup session, 2-3 outfit changes, your fully guided photoshoot, and your private same-day image reveal. The photoshoot portion itself typically lasts about 60-90 minutes. Most clients tell us the time flies by.

Question 7

When do I see my boudoir photos?

Accepted Answer

The same day! One of the things that makes The Goddess Experience different is our same-day image reveal. After your photoshoot, we present your professionally edited portraits on-screen in a private viewing session. No waiting weeks or months. You'll choose your favorites that same day.

Question 8

Are my boudoir photos kept private and confidential?

Accepted Answer

100% yes. Your privacy is sacred to us. We will never share, post, or use your images without your explicit written permission. Our studio is a private, women-only space in downtown Winston-Salem — no walk-ins, no interruptions. You are always in control of how your images are used.

Question 9

What if I'm really nervous about my boudoir session?

Accepted Answer

Almost every single client tells us they were nervous before their session. Those nerves typically disappear within the first 15 minutes. Between the pampering of hair and makeup, the music, and our warm judgment-free energy, you'll feel relaxed faster than you think. We start with easy comfortable poses and build from there. After 500+ sessions, we know exactly how to help you feel amazing.

Question 10

Do you offer boudoir sessions as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Boudoir sessions make unforgettable gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or just a 'you deserve this' moment. We offer gift certificates that can be purchased for any session type. Many of our clients book their session as a birthday gift to themselves.

Question 11

Will you retouch my boudoir photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every image in your collection receives professional retouching that enhances while still looking like you. We smooth skin, adjust lighting, and refine the final look while keeping everything natural and authentic. Our goal is to show you at your most radiant while still looking naturally like yourself.

Question 12

Where is The Goddess Experience Boudoir Studio located?

Accepted Answer

Our luxury portrait studio is located at 500 N Main St, Suite 100, in downtown Winston-Salem, NC 27101. We serve women from across the entire Triad area including Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, and Lexington — and regularly welcome clients from Raleigh, Charlotte, and beyond.

Question 13

Can I bring a friend to my boudoir session?

Accepted Answer

Of course! You're welcome to bring a trusted friend, sister, or family member for moral support. During the actual photoshoot, most women are more relaxed when it's just them and our team, but it's entirely your call. Some clients even book back-to-back sessions with a friend and make a full girls' day out of it.

Question 14

How do I prepare for my boudoir photoshoot?

Accepted Answer

After you book, we send you a detailed prep guide. The essentials: get a good night's sleep, hydrate, avoid trying anything brand-new with your skin the week before, and skip the spray tan for at least 48 hours prior. Bring any personal wardrobe pieces you love. Most importantly, come with an open mind and a willingness to have fun.

Question 15

What is the difference between boudoir and glamour photography?

Accepted Answer

Boudoir photography focuses on intimate, sensual portraits typically featuring lingerie, robes, or minimal clothing — it's about vulnerability, confidence, and self-expression. Glamour photography is more about polished beauty and fashion-forward styling. At The Goddess Experience, we blend both worlds: the intimacy of boudoir with the cinematic quality of high-end glamour.
